The Lost & Found Collection: Counterpart, Artefact & BoB

Hey hey!

Things are progressing wonderfully. We’ve got a handful of cards left to coax through the final stages of the Counterpart editing pipeline, but the game is almost complete. I’m making good progress with the Bucket cards, starting with the Captains—it’s so much fun writing these weirdos! 

Outside of writing, I’ve also been working through a few of the final production details so we can move quickly when the cards are ready to go. It’s all shaping up nicely—I expect to be done with all the writing and editing by the end of May (April’s productivity will take a hit from the Easter holidays), then we can move into pre-production. Working forward, I’m still hopeful that I’ll be able to get the games in your hands before the end of the year... although who the heck knows what international freight will look like at that point. We continue to live in interesting times.

Hey everyone!

This month has been a bit disrupted by a house move and, unfortunately, a hotly-anticipated garden office that turned out to have a massive roof leak. If you're in the UK, you’ve likely noticed we’ve had roughly double our usual February rainfall—and this in a country famed for its grey, dreary weather! Luckily nothing was damaged...

Despite the chaos, we’ve continued editing the Counterpart cards as a team. My office roof is being fixed next week, so hopefully I'll have a proper workspace soon. We've also had a bit of lovely sun in the last few days, so it's really all looking up!

That's it from me really—it's one of those months where I question the logic of doing an update every month, but I think it's worth keeping the cadence even when there's not loads to update you on.

Hey folks, happy new year!

We're continuing to chug along here—I'm moving house next weekend so it's all a bit manic, but we're still moving at pace on the project.

Just a few bullets from me:

• Counterpart is 100% drafted, and Jason & I have cross-reviewed each other's work. Now we've moved on to the 'external critique' process, with Luke sharpening up our words card-by-card until they're all the best they can be.

• Artefact playtesting is going well, thanks to everyone who's provided feedback already. It's mostly a lovely mix of helpful observations and kind words :) I'm going to keep it open for the moment as I'm still getting useful feedback coming in, please do check it out if you have the time!
• Bucket of Bolts writing is commencing, as I set up the templates and get a few cards written to start us off. For the moment there's enough work to do on Counterpart still, but soon I'll be focusing on Bucket full-time.

Hey all!

In at the last minute this month after a tiring (but fun!) day yesterday at Dragonmeet. If you stopped by to say hi, thanks so much! It was really nice to chat to so many happy players.

I'm still waiting on the final art bits for Artefact—we're so close now, I just need a version of the cards without the full-bleed border you can see in the previews below. All the instructions are written, and the Screentop page is setup awaiting the final assets. I remain hopeful it'll be with you before the end of the year.

Counterpart writing continues at pace—I'm on track to have all the cards written by the end of the year.

I really appreciate you all being patient with me! It's going to be worth it in the end.
